Bike excursions – explore the territory of Bolzano by bike
Over forty kilometres of cycle routes link the city in all directions. All the tourist sites can be reached by bike.
A series of routes, to and from the city allow you to immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of the beautiful Dolomite peaks and lush green valleys of Alto Adige.
Bolzano has a really big net of bike trails: 8 principal bike trails from where lots of secondary trails begin.
VELOTAXI - from April to May 2016
An alternative, modern and eco-friendly velocipede with pedal assistance will take you on a unique journey through the city of Bolzano. The guided tour starts from piazza Walther-Waltherplatz and lasts about 45 minutes.

RANDO IMPERATOR 14th-15th May 2016
Go down in history with this series of randonnée along the ancient Via Claudio Augusta, once the trade road of the Roman Empire, now one of the longest and most beautiful cycling routes in Europe. Choose one of the three randonnée in the AUDAX ARI calendar. Decide whether to face the 300 km from München to Bozen and earn points for the Paris Brest Paris, or the 300 km from Bozen to Ferrara to get points for the Italian Championship or to attempt the venture of 600 km from München to Ferrara ahead of Paris Brest Paris.
AUGUSTOUR 13th-14th-15th May 2016
The cycling holiday event lasting three days in South Tyrol and Trentino along the bicycle track called Via Claudia Augusta. Amusement and pleasure to ride along the event’s track are the main purposes of it all, standing right in the foreground. All athletes can follow their own rhythm, stop where they feel like with no stress, have something to eat and refresh at the many AUGUSTOUR feed zones, and take advantage of our luggage transport, use our bike renting service, a bus transfer to go back to the start at the end of the 3 stages, book our “All Inclusive”– Package with the accomodations and much more during the tour.
