On the night of 10 August, Bolzano awaits tourists with a passion for wine in the central and suggestive via Portici, where a special experience will be set up with typical wine and products.

A much-vaunted event on the enotourism agenda: on the night of 10 August a ‘Goblet of Stars’ will return to the city of Bolzano. The event was first created by the Associazione Nazionale Città del Vino (the City of Wine National Association) of which Bolzano is a proud member. The evening is a singular and original event, including many different flavours and a varied fringe programme. A suggestive event in the South Tyrolean capital for its location (Via Portici, the city archway which doubles as its fancy high street), its renowned wines, its lush hills and countless vineyards, which are unique in all of Italy, as they have not been destroyed by unchecked urbanisation projects (in fact, only some historical mountain farmsteads pepper the landscape).
If autumn and its grape harvest are one of the most awaited events of the year, summer nearly outshines it for its cool evening which attracts guests to the South Tyrolean capital.
An open invitation for those spending their holidays in the mountains, the perfect ‘excuse’ to hop downtown for a relaxed evening. Join them as they raise their glasses to the shooting stars, tasting the best white and red wines of local wine cellars under the Portici, following a special gourmand trail along the high street.
Wine and food aplenty, typical products such as Speck, cheese, bread, desserts and much more await our guests.
From 6.30 p.m. to midnight.
