Enjoy the city by running
A special occasion to discover Bolzano by walking or running through the city center and along its promenades. The run leads along two beautiful promenades of Bolzano, revealing a breathtaking panorama of the city with the mountains in background. For all trail lovers there is a particularly demanding route this year, which runs on a beautiful forest trail towards Renon. Beside the two competitive runs, everyone who loves running – adults and children, nordic walker and hobby runners - can join the charity run City Enjoy.
If you prefer a less challenging route, you can take part to the charity run Enjoy: follow the route of 6 km from piazza Walther-Platz to Castel Roncolo-Schloss Runkelstein and back and you will also have the chance to taste local products. You can walk or run...it's up to you! Again this year part of the participation fee will be donated to a local association.
BZ CITY ENJOY - 6 km - route - GPX Data - start at 10.40am @Piazza Walther Platz
You can download the regulation for the edition 2020 by clicking here.
All entrances to the competition area will be recorded and Covid-19 self-certifications will be collected (download here), which will be kept by the Organizing Committee in case of any checks.
For all participants, we have reserved a special holiday package in the participating accommodations. Click here for all deatils.
The BZ City Trail is certified "Green Event" by the Ökoinstitut / Ecoistituto of South Tyrol. Help us protect the environment and join Bolzano Bozen by using the public transportation services. All the useful information about how to get to Bolzano Bozen is available here.
Stay fresh! Fountains along the route
At this year's edition of the City Trail 2020 it wasn't possible to offer supply points. So we used the cool wells along the trail to fill the water bottles. Thanks to its balanced content of dissolved minerals and neutral pH value, the water of Bolzano can be classified as having a low mineral content ("oligominerals"). Every year at least 150 quality controls are carried out on the facilities and the water network. Source: SEAB website
