A Pleasant Evening Discovering the Typical Wines of Bolzano: Calici di Stelle and the Wine City
On Friday, August 8, the city renews an event that has become a tradition: Calici di Stelle.
The night of San Lorenzo approaches, as do the stars that the luckiest ones will be able to see streaking across the sky above the city. Those who look down will find a lively historic center animated by the stands of sixteen Bolzano wineries with deep roots in the city's history, offering their best wines.
The event, organized by the Bolzano Tourism Board, will involve the city's wineries. Alongside the wine offerings from Bolzano’s historic cellars, other prominent local producers will also take part, showcasing their culinary specialties. The evening will begin at 6 PM with the official opening of Calici di Stelle in Piazza Municipio, accompanied by the Banda Musicale di Gries - Bürgerkapelle Gries.
The winemakers will offer more than fifty types of wine and will be available to citizens and visitors to share and appreciate their production and the ancient wine culture that characterizes the city: a journey through taste and fascinating production stories directly from the winemakers.
To avoid waiting in line, you can purchase tickets that include tasting vouchers and a deposit for the glass at the Bolzano Tourism Board on Via Alto Adige 60 or at the Infopoint in Piazza del Grano. Calici di Stelle is organized by the Bolzano Tourism Board in collaboration with the producers, with the patronage of the Municipality and the support of the Cassa Rurale di Bolzano.
